Elementary Catechesis is offered for children Kindergarten through fifth grade. Classes meet weekly beginning in October and ending in May. The children are taught about their Catholic faith through discussion, activities and prayer. The RCL program Faith First Legacy Edition is used in all the classrooms. Parents are encouraged to review the weekly lessons at home with their children and materials are provided that will aid the families in these discussions. You must register through the parish office to participate in the weekly Faith First program. Classes are held Wednesdays 6:00-7:15 PM during the school year.

On the second and fourth Sunday of the month, we offer an opportunity for children K-5th grades to hear God’s word on their level. They are dismissed from the general assembly and led through the liturgy for that Sunday at a child’s level of understanding. They will return to the assembly in time for general intercessions. There is no registration required for this program. (This only occurs during the 10:30 Mass time.)

Children who are 4 or 5 years old and are PreK may register to attend religious education during the 10:30 Mass. This gives the children the opportunity to learn about God and get a basic introduction to the Catholic faith. These classes are only held the 2nd,3rd and 4th Sundays of the month. You may register through the parish office.

This is a week long day camp held at the church at the end of June. Children 4 yrs –5th grade can participate. Each year has a different theme that centers around scripture. Teen and adults lead the kids through fun activities all week long. Registration takes place in May and June.
