NOW, all Faith Formation classes have begun:  elementary, middle school, high school, RCIA/RCIC, and sacramental preparation:  Registrations are still being accepted - contact Bobbi at 360.573.3325, ext. 206 or saclife@stjohnvancouver.org.  (High School and Confirmation classes have been on-going during the summer, but registrations are still being accepted!)

Wednesday and Thursday, November 21st/22nd, Thanksgiving Community Outreach:  Volunteer at the 8th Annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach at St. John the Evangelist.  Help us prepare on Wednesday, help us serve on Thursday.  A hearty meal is served at no cost to any individual or family in need on Thanksgiving Day.  For more information, contact Carolyn Carpio at 360.798.7622.

Thursday, November 22nd, Thanksgiving Day Mass:  Give thanks for your many blessings by joining us at Mass at 9am.

Friday, November 30th, Advent Tree Lighting:  New this year!  Join us at 6:00pm in the courtyard as we kick off the Advent Season by lighting a tree from our St. John Forest!

Saturday, December 1st, Christmas at the Movies:  Tickets for this annual event sponsored by the Knights of Columbus are on sale after Masses beginning November 11/12.  Join us for a delightful holiday treat at the BattleGround Cinemas - this year's movies include "Ralph Breaks the Internet", "Instant Family", and Fantastic Beasts:  The Crimes of Grindelwald."  

Saturday, December 8th, Feast of the Immaculate Conception:  Mass for this Holy Day of Obligation will be at 9am.

Tuesday and Wednesday, December 11/12th, Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration:  We begin these annual festivities with rosary Tuesday evening, December 11th at 6:30pm.  Mananitas with traditional folkloric dancing and treats begins bright and early at 5:30am.  The feast day concludes with Mass in Spanish at 6:30pm.  If you have never attended, you are in for a colorful and delicious treat!

Thursday, December 20th, Simbang Gabi:  A Filipino Christmas tradition, a novena of Masses celebrated beginning December 16th and concluding Christmas Eve.  Our Mass will be celebrated at 6:00pm; a reception featuring an array of amazing food will follow.

Monday and Tuesday, December 24/25, Parish Offices are Closed.  

Monday, December 24th, Christmas Eve:  Christmas Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 5:00pm; we will also have Mass at 9:00pm.

Tuesday, December 25th, Christmas Day:  Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am and 11:30am (Spanish).  

Friday, December 28th, Holy Innocents:  At this special Mass, celebrated at 6:30pm, we remember the children from our families who have died and gone before us.  Please join us.

Tuesday, January 1st, Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God:  Happy New Year!  Start 2019 right by joining us at Mass at 9am or 11:30am (Spanish)!  Parish offices are closed today!
